Ian Bakala was finally unveiled as Caps United head coach on Thursday.

The 45 year old is believed to have signed a three year deal at the Zimbabwean giants.

Kepekepe, Bhora faithful consider this as fastest promotion in football history because Bakala was announced as New Assistant Coach on Monday and elevated as Head Coach today.

Bakala was until recently the Zambia Under-17 coach.

He guided the young guns to the quarter finals of the CAF U17 African Cup of Nations subsequently qualifying the team to the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

On club level, the former Zambia midfielder was sacked by Kitwe giants Nkana early this season after a poor string of results.

He then had a brief spell with Forest Rangers and left the club just before the under-17 tournament in Morocco.

Forest Rangers have since being relegated.

This will be his second stint at Caps United having featured for the club as player in the mid 2000s.
