Zesco look to extend lead as they face Nkwazi

Super league Champions and log leaders Zesco United could end the day nine points clear at the summit if they beat Nkwazi in Lusaka on Wednesday afternoon.

Zesco who have not lost a game since 14th June drawing only twice in the process will look to extend their five match winning streak.

With league top scorer Winstone Kalengo in tip top form, supported by Jackson Mwanza and an attacking midfield of Cletous Chama anchored by Misheck Chaila, Zesco go in the match as clear favorites.

However, sixth placed Nkwazi will be keen to complete a double against Zesco being one of the two teams who have managed a win over the Ndola club.

With the incentive of overtaking Mufulira Wanderers if they win, Nkwazi will not be easy customers with in form Lottie Phiri and Steward Chikandiwa expected to be a menace going forward for the high flying police side.

Both sides over the weekend qualified to the semi finals of the Barclays Cup.
