Power Dynamos forward Moses Shumah has been left out of the Kenya national team squad for the FIFA Series friendly matches set for Kigali later this month.
The in-form talisman, who has scored five goals in his last two games and 14 overall in the league, did not make the final 23-man squad.
Meanwhile, Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has bolstered his squad with new European-based recruits ahead of the FIFA Series in Kigali.
The three are Clarke Oduor of Grimsby Town, Wrexham defensive stalwart Zak Vyner, and Tranmere Rovers attacking midfielder Zech Obiero.
In addition, McCarthy has called up new Gor Mahia signing Frank Odhiambo, while Sylvester Owino and Alpha Onyango also earn places following their impressive performances at the 2024 African Nations Championship.
Kenya will face Estonia in their opening match, followed by a potential clash against either Grenada or hosts Rwanda.
The 2026 FIFA Series in Kigali will take place from March 23 to 31.
