Zambian striker Emmanuel Mayuka has made his first start for his ligue 2 side Metz FC in their away 1 – 1 draw against Le Havre.
Mayuka played the entire game but the striker was unable to score in the game with both goals coming in the first half.
Prior to this game, Mayuka had made two substitutes appearances with a return of one goal.
The former Kabwe Warriors ace was signed from British Premier League side Southampton.
With him getting game time, Chipolopolo Boys interim coach George Lwandamina is likely to recall the 24 year old striker for November’s World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
As things stand Mayuka is behind Zesco Utd’s Winstone Kalengo in the pecking order.
He played the entire match and was not substituted it means mayuka was on fire though he did not score.. I thing i like is the way he is being treated like a hero… He will gain confidence and start scoring..
maybe his a impact stricker who does well off the bench..
Soring goals is the secret to command the first 11 in a team. And he also need to up his game coz this is ligue 2 not ligue 1. wishng him all the best!
I wish the report had more information on his actual performance in addition to the fact he started and got a full game.
Playing week in week out is what is needed for Mayuka. He should convince the coaches by banging in goals.
Lets hope da best for da young man . Pls dont dissappoint us again.
We are waiting for Mayuka to regain his scoring form. young man you can do it,you have our support. Look at Mbesuma,he has retained his scoring form.Common young man.
