Zesco United shot to the summit of the MTN FAZ Super League in style with a 3 – 0 win over champions Nkana FC in a game played in Ndola.
The loss for Nkana technically puts them out of contention for the Super League title as they now trail Zesco by 9 points with 3 games to play.
Zesco opened the scores through John Chingandu early in the match before Jackson Mwanza added a second.
Clatous Chama added more misery on Nkana as he added a third with an assist from Mwanza.
At Sunset stadium, Zanaco drew one all with Green Buffaloes as the title continues to slowly slip away from the hands of the bankers as they recorded their third consecutive draw.
Allan Mukuka opened the scores for Buffaloes and Zanaco were lucky to pull one back through Moses Phiri.
