Zambian legend Simutowe dies

Former Zambia National Soccer Team coach Borniface Simutowe has passed away, he passed away on Tuesday morning in Lusaka.

Simutowe was the first Zambian Footballer of the Year winner
Simutowe, one of the most lethal goal-scoring playmakers ever, was born on 13 October 1949. He was 65. He was a member of the all-conquering Kabwe Warriors side which famously swept all domestic silverware in 1972. Simutotwe, a consistent goal-scorer who averaged 80 goals per season between 1971 and 1975, helped Zambia to second place at the country’s first ever Nations Cup finals in Egypt.

  1. May his soul rest in peace(SIMUTOWE). Janza, can u please announce the final squad for AFCON and please don’t leave out Katongo Christopher and Kondwani Mtonga, we need these two for stability in Defense and midfield.

    or because its a provision squad he will be axed in the next round.
