Outgoing Chipolopolo Boys coach Wedson Nyirenda has been linked with the vacant job at South African Premier Soccer League side Baroka FC.
According to reports from Mzansi, the embattled former Zanaco and Zesco United coach is open to coaching in the ABSA Premiership next season.
The outspoken coach won league titles at Zanaco and Zesco United before a stint in Mozambique.
Should he clinch a PSL coach at one of the clubs, he will be making a return to the country where he played his professional football at Kaizer Chiefs in the early 90s.
Though he recorded a double over Algeria in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier, the failure to lead Zambia to a Cosafa Cup title has been cited as one of the reasons why his critics want him sacked as Chipolopolo coach.
Nyirenda is currently helping out Junior Chipolopolo Boys assistant coach Charles Bwale drill the lads.

LET HIM GOOOOO! WHAT A BLESSING!
DIFFICULT TO APPRECIATE THIS MAN. BUT HE HAS PLAYED WELL AGAINST SOME TOP TEAMS,I THINK. HE MERITS MORE TIME ON THAT SCORE. BUT JUST. FOOTBALL IS A HIGH PRESSURE GAME.
We and I mean it we Zambians pray that baroka employs him
Time to go! In fact too late!
Now,Europe based players hv a chance to feature for Chipolopolo. He wasn’t very bad, but his attitude was like Mr. Know it all.
