Barbra Banda strikes late as Orlando Pride end losing run

Zambia Women’s National Team captain Barbra Banda scored a dramatic late winner as Orlando Pride edged North Carolina Courage 1-0 to end a two-match winless streak in the NWSL.

Banda struck in the 87th minute, firing home a superb effort from inside the box to seal all three points for the Pride.

The victory moves Orlando Pride up to sixth place on the table with 11 points, while Banda’s decisive goal takes her tally to eight goals in eight matches this season.
