Niger v Zambia Build Up: Grant makes 2 changes… as Triple C and Lawrence Mulenga start

Chipolopolo coach Avram Grant has made two changes to the team that beat Congo Brazzaville.

Goalkeeper Lawrence Mulenga returns to the starting line up replacing Francis Mwansa who drops to the bench.

Simba SC midfielder Clatous Chota Chama starts his first game under Grant as he takes up Benson Sakala’s place.

Stophila Sunzu, Dominic Chanda, Benedict Chepeshi and Rodrick Kabwe remain unchanged as the back four.

Chama joins Serbia based Klings Kangwa and Rijeka midfielder Emmanuel Banda in a midfield trio.

Two goal hero Patson Daka will again lead the line alongside the tricky Fashion Sakala Jnr and the nimble footed Lameck Banda.

Zambia beat Congo Brazzaville 4-2 on Friday and will be looking to make it two wins in two games when they face Niger.

Kick off at the Stade Grand Marrakech is 21h00 and the match will be live on ZNBC TV1

  2. Coach should try out other players as well, like Kennedy Musonda, in front. Our centre forward is putting no effort. Then central defence is dead. The goal keeper also is sleeping.
