Zimbabwe defender Teenage Hadebe has been suspended for tomorrow’s Mukuru 4 Nations Tournament final against Zambia.
This is according to a statement by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) accessed by the ZamFoot Crew.
“The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) confirms that Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe has been found in breach of the team’s camp code of conduct.
Following this, a disciplinary decision has been taken in line with team regulations. Teenage Hadebe has been suspended for one match and will therefore miss the final of the Mukuru 4 Nations Tournament against Zambia. The player has since apologised to the team and the Association and has accepted the disciplinary outcome,” reads part of the statement.
“The Association and the technical team remain committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, discipline and accountability within the national team setup.”
The United States-based defender appeared in a TikTok video with a whiskey bottle in hand, with indications suggesting he was drinking in camp.

Zimbabwe beat Botswana 3–0 thanks to first-half goals from Mongameli Tshuma, Macauley Bonne and Bill Antonio.
Meanwhile, Zambia beat Malawi 9–8 on post-match penalties after a goalless draw to set up the Zambezi derby final.
The Warriors and the Chipolopolo Boys will face off tomorrow at 18:00 at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana.
