James Nene Sibeene scored for IFK Stocksund on Sunday in an Ettan Norra – Division 1 league match against Vasalund.
Compatriot Robert Banda came off the bench to play the final 20 minutes but could not prevent Stocksund from suffering a 4-3 defeat in Stockholm.
Sibeene started in midfield and gave Stocksund the lead in the 28th minute with a fine solo goal.
Vasalund responded with two quick goals before the break. Stocksund had a chance to restore parity but missed from the spot on the stroke of half-time.
Vasalund extended their lead to 3-1 two minutes after the restart, but Sibeene and his teammates refused to give up, pulling one back.
The hosts struck again to make it 4-2, while Sibeene almost grabbed his second of the afternoon with an audacious chip that was saved by the goalkeeper.
A few minutes later, Yusuf scored for Stocksund to make it 4-3.
Banda and Latif Abdul Mumuni were introduced, with Banda deployed at right wing-back. The youngster sent in a teasing low cross from the right, but there was no Stocksund player on hand to finish.
Sibeene was withdrawn in the 88th minute.
Since joining from Sporting Lusaka FC, the two teenagers have been racking up valuable minutes in Scandinavia.
