Zambia Super League side Green Eagles have confirmed the acquisition of five players.
Eagles have acquired the services of two Congolese players in striker Sylva Nsana Tshitenge of AC Rangers and left back Fitadi Matondo Olivier.
Former Talisman Tapson Kaseba has returned to the club and leads the list of the players who will beef up the Kawale Boys squad.
Kaseba netted 18 goals for Eagles under Aggrey Chiyangi helping the team to a fourth place finish five years ago.
“Green Eagles Football club is delighted to announce the signing of five (5) new players in a quest to strengthen its squad.
The club has acquired the services of Striker Sylva Nsana Tshitenge of ACÂ Rangers in the Linafoot Vodacom League from the Democratic Republic of Congo on a six-month contract with possibility of extension.
Another player in the Linafoot Vodacom League Fitadi Matondo Olivier, a left-back, has also joined Green Eagles from AS Simba on a 1-year contract.”
The team has also acquired the services of former Zambia U-20 National Team goalkeeper Prince Bwalya from Young Green Buffaloes together with Stephen Mwaba a defensive midfielder from Power Dynamos who have both joined the team on a 1-year contract while wing-back Liable Chijiba of former Young Green Eagles has been added on a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, the club has also announced the return of Striker Tapson Kaseba from Kabwe Warriors.

Some of these players may make their debut on Sunday as Eagles return to MTN Super League action with a tricky encounter against defending Champions, Power Dynamos at Choma’s Independence Stadium.
