The Zambia Super League Champions started their campaign with a narrow 1-0 win.
In the other group B match, Sudanese giants Al Hilal beat Djibouti Telkom 2-0.
The Airmen will now face group leaders Al Halal on Saturday, 13 July 2024 before wrapping up their group fixture against Djibouti Telecom on Tuesday next week.
