Zambia U20 national team forward Philimon Chilimina has opted for a move to Israel despite a huge offer from Turkey the ZamFoot Crew have learned.
Chilimina is being linked with a move to Hapoel Ranaana.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that a Turkish Süper Lig side, Tümosan Konyaspor were keen to sign the Chirundu United product.
Konyaspor made a 200,000 usd offer the ZamFoot Crew understands but the deal broke down.
Chilimina spent the last six months of the 2024/2025 MTN Super League season on loan at Green Buffaloes from Chirundu United.
Chilimina scored eight goals in the first half of the 2024/2025 ZPL National Division League before joining Buffaloes on loan.
In December of last year, Zambian coach Wedson Nyirenda called up the attacker to the national squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) training camp.
