Power Dynamos reinforce with five new players 

MTN Super League Champions, Power Dynamos have reinforced their squad with five new players ahead of the new season. 

Last season’s FKF Premier League top scorer Moses Shumah headlines the five new acquisitions for Abayellow. 

Others are defender Samuel Ayodeji Bamidele, a central defender from Nigeria, Innocent Kashita, an attacking midfielder from Nkwazi FC, also joins the team.

Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Adoko joins Abayellow from NAPSA Stars, and Ronnel Manyanga, a Zambian right winger who played in the Botswana Football League. 

Meanwhile Faustina Bakodila, Changwe Shikilwa, Stanley Lwamba  and Jacob Kaunda have left the Club after their contracts expired.  Pride Mwansa and Aaron Simpasa, are returning to their parent clubs, while Bebe Musangala has  mutually separated from the Club.

Power Dynamos will also travel to Johannesburg, South Africa, later this month for their pre-season training camp.

FULL PRESS RELEASE; PDFC REINFORCES SQUAD AHEAD OF CAF CHAMPIONSHIP AND LOCAL LEAGUE

July 4, 2025, Kitwe, Zambia – Power Dynamos Football Club (PDFC) is pleased to announce five new acquisitions to reinforce its squad as it prepares for the 2025/26 MTN sponsored Zambian Premier League (ZPL) season and the Confederation of African (CAF) Champions League. 

Among the new signings is Moses Shumah, the Kenyan league’s top scorer with 17 goals in the just ended season from Kakamega Homeboyz Football Club. His addition to the Club is expected to bolster our attacking options. 

Samuel Ayodeji Bamidele, a central defender joins the Aba Yellow from Nigeria, while Innocent Kashita, an attacking midfielder from Nkwazi FC, also joins the team. Kashita was the runner-up in the Betway Player of the Season awards, narrowly missing out to Owen Tembo. His creativity and  vision on the field will be invaluable to our midfield. 

We also welcome Daniel Adoko, a midfielder from NAPSA Stars, and Ronnel Manyanga, a Zambian right winger who played in the Botswana Football League. They bring to the team a wealth of experience and skill that will enhance our squad’s depth.

The Club also wishes to inform its stakeholders that during this transfer window, it recorded some departures and the players who left include Faustine Bakodila, Changwe Shikilwa, Stanley Lwamba  and Jacob Kaunda, who left the Club due to contract expiry.

Pride Mwansa and Aaron Simpasa, are returning to their parent clubs, while Bebe Musangala has  mutually separated from the Club.

Club Chief Executive Officer, Gibson Chaloba, expressed excitement over the new acquisitions and the potential they will bring to Arthur Davies Stadium. 

“We extend our deepest gratitude to the players who have left. Their service and contribution to the Club, especially in ensuring last season’s success will forever be appreciated,” said Chaloba.

To ensure adequate preparations for the upcoming season and the CAF Championship, the team will travel to Johannesburg, South Africa, later this month for their pre-season training camp.
