Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ is slowly settling in the Belgian and he made his debut on Friday in a club friendly in Portugal when Lierse went down 2 – 1 to Excelsior of Netherlands. Sate Sate played 15 minutes. Lierse will be in league action on Sunday after they concluded their tour of Portugal.
Patrick Ngoma was a second half substitute on Monday as Al Ittihad drew 1 – 1 away against El Shorta.
Both Emmanuel Mbola and Evans Kangwa completed 90 minutes for Hapoel Ra’anana when they drew 1 – 1 with Ironi Kiryat Shmona. Ra’anana played with a man down from the 54th minute.
Rogers Kola seems to have claimed a starting place after he was again named in the starting line-up for Veria in their home draw against relegation threatened Panthrakikos. Kola has now played 14 games making six starts in the 17 week old league.
Stopilla Sunzu again watched from the bench as Lille were held to a 1 – 1 draw at home by Nice. Sunzu has so far made eight league appearances for Lille in 20 league games.
Emmanuel Mayuka will be in action tonight when Metz take on his former club Sochaux.

Good for Sate sate and Rodgers Kola
thats gud for zambia, just work hard sate
sate sate ure my man belgium is a beter countrie wake hard will see you in barclays p league.i wish u very best,God bless zambia.
Mwana wa Zambie……… This boy has something special and unique………It will be known one day remember One day is one .
Mayuka is not even on the bench. I thought he would be a regular considering its lower division. Very disappointing indeed.
Mayuka is not even on the bench.
Rogers Kola is useless 1 goal in 14 games! Is he a defender? He might be going back on loan to Israel. His parent club Ghent has made its intention known to sell him.
Gud 4 all pros
The success rate of our exports to Europe is extremely poor….None has ever made it in the EPL but why? RSA which got re-admitted in world football not so long ago has had a number of bright stars: Lucas Radebe, Quinton Fortune, McCarthy, Aaron Mokoena, Pienaar etc…whereas the cream of our footballers (Mbesuma and Mayuka) lamentably failed. Ninshi kanshi?
Kalu was too late for the EPL…He was already 28-29 when the EPL became seriously interested in African players….His move to PSV during the golden years of Dutch football was a tremendous achievement…He was as good as Romario!
Well said although I’m one of those few who don’t necessarily think playing in the EPL as being a footballers greatest achievement. For me a player playing in any European club that makes a consistent impact in the champions league is what counts for me. Benni Mcarthy’s best achievements were outside the EPL so for him EPL did not do much in increasing the highlights of his career. Same thing with Kalu he had an amazing two decade pro career outside of the EPL.
Mayuka has a fiend who is his teammate, hence he cant do extra work on his own. If he doesnt do extra work to make himself super fit he will soon be back home. Look Aubemeyang is now African Football of the year but the lad is trim and super fit.
I love the concentration in this photo- eyes should always be on the ball and not just running aimlessly
Sate Sate has a good chance of progressing to greater club through HARD WORK .
The level of inconsistency amongst our pro players is very worrying. Kola has one goal since his move, Mayuka the less said the better and even Sunzu is failing to hold down a first team spot.
We basically only have three players showing true consistency, Emmanuel Mbola in Isreal, Mbesuma in the PSL and Chisamba Lungu in Russia. OK maybe we can speak of Jacob in China as well.
How are we ever going to qualify for the world cup when the best of the crop does not measure up when it comes to good leagues??
I wish FAZ could hold an inquest of some sort to truly find the backbone of the reason Zambian players just don’t measure up as soon as they leave the ZPL. How’s it that even the PSL is becoming farfetched for Zambian players? We used to light this league alight but now that the league has improved we are now nonentities in it.
These same players our boys don’t measure up-to in pro leagues are the same players who play in the world cup.
