Evans Kangwa put in a good 83 minutes shift as Arsenal Tula earned a vital 1-nil win on Sunday afternoon against Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League to keep their relegation battle hopes alive.
Tula came into the match lying in 15th position which is an automatic relegation spot. Evans Kangwa was named in the starting XI and was handed a left-wing role in a 4-3-3 formation.

Kings Kangwa was one of the substitutes and would come one for Evans Kangwa in the 83rd minute.
Tula were under pressure to perform following a disappointing cup exit on Thursday at the hands of CSKA Moscow.
The hosts started well from the get-go with Evans Kangwa setting Lutsenko up with a pinpoint cross into the penalty area from the left side in the 4th minute. However, Lutsenko was denied by Krasnodar’s keeper at close range.
Tula continued to match Krasnodor, who participated in this season’s Champions League, toe-to-toe. Tula had long range effort well saved in the 22nd minute.
Another chance from a header resulting from a corner kick in the 42nd minute went just over.
After a stalemate in the first half, Causic volleyed in loose ball spectacularly from the edge of the area to give Tula the lead in the 62nd minute.
Kings Kangwa replaced his brother, Evans Kangwa in the 83rd to add steel to the midfield as Tula saw off the last minutes to record an important win.

Arsenal Tula have kept a clean for the first time since mid-October. They now sit in 13th position with 20 points.
Following the win, they move from the automatic relegation places to a relegation play-off place.

The teams that finish 15th and 16th will be relegated to the Second tier League, while the top 2 in that league will be promoted to the 2021-22 Russian Premier League season.
The 13th and 14th Premier League teams will play the 4th and 3rd of 2020-21 Second tier teams respectively in two (home-and-away) playoff games with the winners securing Premier League spots for the 2021–22 season.
