Power sign Luchanga from Dynamos

Kitwe giants have completed the signing of Lusaka Dynamos teenage striker Conlyde Luchanga.

Luchanga, the 2015 Zambian Young Player of the Year was set to join Zesco United but the Ndola side pulled the plug after failing to meet the Queansmead Stadium outfit’s asking price.

The 17 year old rose to stardom in the second half the 2015 season with a string of strong performances for the Hanif Adams sponsored side.

His highlight of the season came in the game against Red Arrows when he teared apart Cosafa Cup winning captain Bronson Chama and then went on to make a scoring debut for Zambia against Mozambique in the CHAN qualifier.

The boy from Mazabuka, then started Zambia Under-23’s three group games in Senegal with a return of a goal.

In Senegal, he looked a lightweight and occasionally off the pace and many Chipolopolo faithful believe he should not have been rushed to the senior team.

Despite those concerns, Luchanga remains one of the players to look out for next year.

It is real coup for Power Dynamos when it all seemed the boy was heading to Ndola.
