Nyambe Mulenga out of hospital

Chipolopolo defender Nyambe Mulenga who sustained a dislocated joint in a road traffic accident in December has been discharged from Hospital.

Mulenga had a successful surgery on his right leg shaft at the Italian Orthopedic Hospital in Lusaka in December, 2014.

“ I am recovering well and I know in no time I will be back on the pitch, the doctors here ( Lusaka Trust) ,Kabwe General Hospital and Italian Hospital have been so helpful and they have worked so hard in making sure that we all recover,” he said in an interview earlier with Zesco media.

The tough tackling defender was on his way to join the Chipolopolo camp ahead of the 2015 Equatorial Guinea Africa Cup of Nations when he met his fate together with Green Eagles goalie Satchmos Chakawa and U17 midfielder Changwe Kalale as well Zesco United staff.

Chakawa has since been discharged from hospital while Changwe is still admitted in hospital.
