Chipolopolo midfielder Chisamba Lungu has caught the attention of Ukrainian giants Shaktar Donetsk.
Shaktar agent Ceser Bottedga said that the Ukrainian club is impressed with Lungu’s performance.
Bottedga is confident Shaktar will formally approach Lungu’s Russian side FC Ural during the summer transfer window.
“As at now, there is nothing official but we are closely monitoring Chisamba because we are interested in bringing him to Ukraine. He is an interesting and gifted player who cannot struggle in the Ukrainian league,” Bottedga said.
Chisamba was a key player in Honour Janza’s squad will was booted out of the on going Africa Cup of Nations featuring in two of the three games played.
Lungu’s contract with Ural is expected to expire next summer.
Chisamba Lungu should immediately sign for Shaktar Donetsk.They regularly play in the UEFA champions league and will be a good destination for him.
