Chipolopolo Boys Wedson Nyirenda is set to name striker Alex Ng’onga in his starting line-up for tonight’s CHAN tournament group B tie against Uganda, Zambianfootball.co.am understands.
Reports from Marrakech indicate that the Power Dynamos hitman has beaten of competition from Green Buffaloes’ Friday Samu and Chanda Mushili of Buildcon.
“Wada has been trying out Mushili and Samu but he has his doubts. So Ng’onga is the best we have in terms power and aggressive,” a ZamFoot Crew in Morocco said immediately after the team’s briefing.
“For the goals, Augu [Augustine Mulenga] and Lazi [Lazarous Kambole] will need to chip as well,” added a ZamFoot Crew insider.
Zambia is in Group B alongside Ivory Coast and Namibia.
