Zambian midfielder Nathan Sinkala has been ruled out of his weekend’s CAF Super Cup final between Wydad Casablanca and TP Mazembe due to injury.
Zambianfootball.co.zm can confirm that Sinkala was not part of the Mazembe team that arrived in Morocco on Monday ahead of the final slated for Saturday on 24th February.
The 27 year old sustained an ankle injury during a local game against Lupopo.
Coach Mihayo named skipper Rainford Kalaba in the 18 man squad that travelled together with Kabaso Chongo.
The Congo DR giants who were crowned CAF Confederations Cup Champions last year will be looking to add more silverware to their collection when they meet the CAF Champions League Champions in Casablanca.
Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe was given the honour to officiate the prestigious final to be assisted by Jerson dos Santos of Angola and Siwela of Zimbabwe.
