MTN SUPER LEAGUE WEEK THREE FIXTURES, DOUBLEHEADER AT LEVY MWANAWASA STADIUM

The MTN Super League enters week three of action this afternoon with eight matches set to take center stage.

Out of CAF Champions League ZESCO United will be back to familiar territory as they welcome Chambishi FC at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in an early kickoff.

Numba Mumamba and his players will be desperate to get League title defense off to a winning start after that unexpected premature Champions League exit.

Chambishi on the other has a huge mountain to climb to record their first win of the season after recording back-to-back draws in their opening two matches.

ZESCO United will this afternoon face Chambishi in the MTN Super League early kickoff (13:00) fixture scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Ndola.

At the same venue, Forest Rangers fresh from a resounding 4-1 win over Kafue Celtic will clash with log leaders Team Kopala, Buildcon.

Buildcon has had a 100% start to their 2021/2022 campaign but this will be their biggest test yet and will need to put a more improved performance to beat Fole Malembe.

It’s an evenly matched affair and it is expected to provide a good afternoon of football for the fans.

At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Kafue Celtic will look to put their weekend humiliation behind them and push for their first win of the season as they welcome Indeni.

It won’t be easy for the youthful Crocs and Indeni will also fancy a chance to get a win away from home.

In Kabwe, Winless Power Dynamos visit President Stadium looking for their first win of the season as they face off with Prison Leopards who succumbed to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Buildcon over the weekend.

In another match where a winner can’t be picked before kick-off, Masauso Tembo requires a win to relieve pressure but Prison Leopards will also want to get maximum points at home.

Green Eagles recorded their first win of the season away in Kitwe over the weekend and will be hoping to make it two out of two when they welcome Lusaka Dynamos at the Choma Independence Stadium.

Lusaka Dynamos are in search of their first win of the season but will need to put in a shift and a half to win at Independence Stadium but will be motivated by Buildcon who managed a win there in week one.

Sharp Konkola Blades host High Flying Nkwazi while Kansanshi Dynamos welcome out of CAF Confederation Cup, Kabwe Warriors who are eager to get back to winning ways.
