  1. On a serious note kudos to Manfred Chabinga who has formed a very cohesive and confident unit. Their supporters are also very organised and financially so notifye ichimwela chapakanwa like ifwe ba Nkana fans who can’t turn our large numbers into cash (If only 5000 of us consistently contribute ka minimum of K20 per month, that translates to a cool K100,000 per month K1.2m per year that we can reinvest into ventures to give us passive income eventually we can provide the critical mass through scale and urge Executive to reduce replicas to as low as K50 from the current very exorbitant K400. We can expertly package the Nkana brand and auction it on the Corporate market-my outfit is doing the same towards forming the Unzasu Entrepreneurship Centre so that Graduates drop the mindset of getting white collar jos upon graduating-engaged Unzasu this week albeit them rioting this week!). Let’s rid our game of non creative and innovative Club Executives with the advent of Club Licencing (I’ve done a paper for Nkana fans outlining what role we can play under Club Licencing with a draft Strategy of how to achieve set goals and Business model of how to create value through competitive advantage, core competencies and financial standards). If someone knows some Club Executive interested I may be contacted on 0977 781007

  2. And ZamFoot how about a Zamfoot Bloggers forum where we can meet and brainstorm ideas ideal for our soccer and each blogger to pay K200. We all seem to have facts but with no big dreams (the guy with big dreams is better off than a Guy with all the facts)! Being busy does not equal being productive. Success does not come from movement and activity, it comes from focus.

  3. Guys we are quick to condemn Zamfoot when they delay in updating stories (Done from their own resources and gratis). Let’s show that we can add value including mweba mu disapora as since 1989 when the Berlin Wall fail, in came the Web that has killed distance and boundaries as impediments!

  4. Latest scores:

  5. Justice, I know they arrived and I ve been reading in the Kenyan media. Its only that I needed news from the Zambian camp and zamfoot would have provided. You should understand the context of my question and figure out the hypothesis that stimulates such a question in me, rather condemning me

  6. Off topic:Harambee Stars will receive Ksh. 1 million reward from Football Kenya Federation (FKF) should they beat Zambia in an AFCON qualifier on Sunday 6 September at Nyayo National Stadium.

Stars host the Chipolopolo in the second qualifier match as they work towards qualifying for the 2017 edition of the biannual tourney they last featured in 2004 in Tunisia.

Ahead of the crunch tie against the Southern Africa side, FKF Chairman has promised the team a reward of Ksh. 1 million should they down the 2012 AFCON champions .

    Reward

-The team has prepared well and I have full confidence that they will perform well against Zambia tomorrow. I want to give a pledge of Ksh. 1million to the team should they beat our opponents. I want to challenge them to face our opponents fearlessly and perform well, he said.

Nyamweya was addressing the press at Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday 5 September.

  7. Keep up the updates. In Francitown New Stadium the state of affairs is nil all at recess. Botswana versus Burkina Faso, CAN qualifier. I am among the history making crowd. First International game.

  8. Final scores:

    Mufulira Wanderers 0 – 2 Zanaco
    Red Arrows 1 – 1 Power Dynamos
    Nkana 1 – 0 Forest Rangers

  9. South Sudan 1-0 Equatorial Guinea. Huge win by South Sudan and I think it is one of the biggest upsets in today’s series of Afcon qualification games.

  10. As things stand Congo are leading the group. Zambia should be looking at banging in goals tomorrow. Goal difference may come into play later on.

  12. They’ve got slick passes, good build up play, strong physical players, but they just can’t convert their numerous chances into goals. That’s Guinea Bissau.

  13. When the Afcon draws were made it looked like it would be pretty plain sailing for Zambia. And why not? History shows that Zambia has the edge over our three opponents in the group. But having watched the Guinea Bissau/ Congo match, and bearing in mind the unpredictability of my beloved Chipolopolo, I can only hope players and fans stop taking “minor” nations for granted.

The reputation that Zambia has as a footballing nation was not just inherited or given to us on a silver plata. Our former players worked hard on the field of play and brought results that helped to build the reputation we now boast about. However, anything built has the potential to be destroyed. So we need players to rise to the occasion whenever our reputation is at stake. There’s no point bragging that we are a great footballing nation when results and performances keep indicating otherwise. There’s only one way to silence critics. Win matches. I hope we can kick start our campaign with a resounding victory against Kenya.
