ZPL National League side Lumwana Radiants have appointed Allan Kamwanga as their new head coach following the departure of Bilton Musonda at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The North-Western Province outfit confirmed the changes in a statement on Friday, revealing that Musonda’s contract had expired before the club moved to reshape its technical bench ahead of the new campaign. Lumwana have also named Moses Lungu as first assistant coach as part of efforts to strengthen the coaching department.
“The Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Allan Kamwanga as the new Head Coach of Lumwana Radiants Football Club,” the statement read. “To strengthen the technical team ahead of the new season, the Club has also secured the services of Moses Lungu, who joins as the First Assistant Coach.”
The club said the appointments underline its ambition to build a competitive side capable of meeting its objectives in the upcoming season, adding that the executive committee has “full confidence in the leadership, experience, and ability of Coach Kamwanga and Coach Lungu to guide the team to greater success.”
Lumwana Radiants also paid tribute to outgoing coach Musonda, thanking him for his “dedication, professionalism, and valuable contribution” during his spell in charge while wishing him success in his future endeavours. The club has urged supporters, partners and stakeholders to rally behind the new technical team as preparations begin for the 2026 Transition League campaign.
