Skipper of the side Adrian Chama misses out due to suspension for the cards he accumulated in the qualifiers.

Micho has unnecessarily given too much respect to Tanzania by going with a packed midfield and a lone striker. Despite this, Tanzania seem to have a good control of the game also aided by the Zambian midfielders easily losing possession with a lot of incomplete passes.
The left back where Zechariah Chilongoshi is has been heavily exploited by the Taifa Stars but Chibwe has made deseprate last ditch interventions but has not had a shot on target to save.
In the final third, Emmanuel Chabula has done reasonably well as a lone striker and could have been on target but for a good save pulled off by the goalkeeper. Collins Sikombe has also found the target with Zambia recording seven shot with only two of those on target.
Golden Mafwenta has looked good in midfield. Mubanga Kampamba has been poor. He is also on set piece duty and none of those have been good.

It was a very good game but first half thing was not good
Zambia most stop giving too much respect to it’s opponents. They were very nervy and negative for the better part of the first half. Why play football with fear ? In their next game I hope they won’t play the same rope-a-dope style. They should get onto that pitch and express themselves.
