Leicester City Manager Brendan Rodgers has defended his decision to start with Kelechi Iheanacho over Patson Daka.
On Sunday, Leicester City suffered a 2-0 away defeat to Arsenal in the premier League.
With the 35 year old Jamie Vardy ruled out of action for close to a month, Kelechi and Daka battled it out for the position upfront.
Zambian forward Daka was introduced in the 73rd minute for Kelechi with the scores already at 2 nil.
“Sometimes it’s the game, both sides today played in 4-3-3 when they had the ball, pressing in a 4-4-2, in that structure then you need a striker who can play in between the lines and come underneath and Kels is more efficient at that than Patson,” Rodgers said
“If you’re looking for someone to stretch the line, get in behind like Jamie, then Patson is that guy, so you’re just looking at each game and what each game needs. I thought Kels had some good moments in the game, that’s the options that we have at the moment without Jamie.”
Daka has 4 league goals with 6 other Euro goals.

10 is a good return already. Just spark and double that.
