MTN Super League newcomers Konkola Blades have reached an agreement with Nkwazi over midfielder Stephen Mutama, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Mutama is set to join the list of newcomers at the Chilabombwe based outfit. Mutama has been a key figure at Edwin Imboela.
He is expected to join the Chililabombwe based outfit on a one year loan deal from the Zambia Police sponsored outfit.
Blades recently unveiled nine new acquisitions led by Chipolopolo midfielder Kelvin Kapumbu as part of their rebuilding for the new season.
Former Zambia U20 National Team midfielder Boyd ‘Tanker’ Musonda is also among the players who were unveiled by Sharp Razor after ending his ten year stay at Sunset Stadium.
Striker Clive Biyeta from Mufulira Wanderers, winger Reagan Mtonga from Power Dynamos, and defender Simon Mulenga from Trident FC. They have all penned two-year permanent deals.
Others are last season’s ZPL National League top goalscorer Golden Zansi and midfielder Benjamin Saeli from Riverplate.
Barts FC winger Martin Mweemba and defender Jackson Phiri who have penned three year deals like Zansi and Saeli.
Blades were in Mongu for a preseason 10 training camp before returning to play a number of friendly games against Chambishi, Roan United and Green Eagles.
