The Zambia national put aside Saturday’s win against Mozambique and quickly got back to work at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium where the completed two training sessions as they prepare for the final round formality match in the Equatorial Guinea 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against group F leaders Cape Verde.
The Chipolopolo took a day off to rest on Sunday after they arrived in the early hours of the day from Mozambique where their efforts saw them secure a place at the 2015 tournament.
The players looked to be in high spirits in training with the afternoon session lasting two hours from 16:00hrs to 18:00hrs.
Honour Janza has responded to the defensive frailties the team showed in the last game by recalling TP Mazembe full back Kabason Chongo who was one of the three players dropped before the trip to Mozambique. Kabaso was part of both training sessions.
The team will have one more training session tomorrow at 19:00hrs at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
The game kicks off at 18:00hrs CAT.

you have revived our hope and trust in you ba Janza.well done for keeping faith in young players, thats what we call development.
For those guys who failed to understand that Zambia has qualified before the last game, should know this; Head to head rules apply here, even if Zambia loses to CV by 5-0, and Moz beat Niger by 10 nil, Zambia will still be on top of Moz basid on head to head result. Big teams has already qualified with a game to spare. I doubt if Ghana will qualify coz they are scared of Adebayo.
No daily bread this time around in Eq Guinea. We should lift that trophy without easy games against ancient champions.
Its good for Kabaso to be called back into the team. Munthali should be dropped. But the surging runs care against CV.
Also Janza needs more friendly games to cement his new team. Already the team has been changed so many times. As we play more friendlies, we will gel and be a force to reckon with.
Bolapazed you took words from my mouth bro the new team need more friendly game and I think an early training camp would do!
“games”
Let us beat sturbon Cape Verde convincingly.
Kabaso Chongo equally needs to up his game because his last performances have been poor to say the least. In my humble opinion the coach really needs to find a stable and more reliable permutation in both left and right back positions.
To me Donashano Malama on the right back is fine and doing well. We should let Donashano continue on the right back and Mbola on the left. Nkausu and Kabaso will have to fight Donashano for the right back. On the other hand, Nkausu is at an advantage as he can also play in central defence in the absence of Sunzu, who is injured. Munthali is slow and jis reading of the game is not so good. Nyambe Mulenga has grown in stature and he is now our dependable central defender with Sunzu.
Kabaso is far much better than Donasio as long as he doesn’t overlap too much. Justin Zulu is far much better than Bruce Musakanya playing on the ‘wing’, oops! everything is midfield these days. Nkausu is far much better than Mbola, Mbola does not recover quickly to cover his position. Singuluma is far deadly being a top man than Mayuka.
Kabaso has character and does not get easily skinned the Donashano was,if u remember how he managed Neymar.if only he can stop ball – watching, improve on pace and tracking back.if we are to go far at Afcon, the team needs to close spaces quicky,be resilient on 50/50 physical challenges and keep possesion, not the many chances we gave to little mambas,a better team would have punished us
Zambia has qualified 2nd spot should we finish on 8pts and Moz 8pts, Zambia will go through on better head to head.
Ala bane this is given. We know that. Lets move on.
Beating Cape verde will boost zambia fifa rankings.
Work on that defence janza seriously….and you have to make sure we beat cap verde.
what about Sunzu, is he not coming? anyone with info pliz madandaulo ine!!!!!!!!!!! gud luck banyamata, go beat them convincingly,Zed is behind u
LETS HOPE WE ARE WINNING AS WELL
Janza seem to be listening to fans and other people’s suggestions For sure defence needs tightening and a bit changes in midfield. Let’s go get the last 3 points and good luck. By the way no dedication of games to dead people. We are slowly turning our games to spiritual offerings to appease the dead let’s just play for Zambia.
The technical bench headed by Janza and dutchman Lobahm is better than pathetic renard.
Please ba Janza, you need Kondwani Mtonga! Listen to people for once!! Kondwani is the only Zambian defender who can match Sunzu at the moment! You a coach! Research!
@ZUMIC sunzu isn’t fit yet and will miss the game..give Lubambo musonda more game time, the boy makes gud runs..
This guy is yet to impress me. Malama had a far better game in the match against Mozambique rather than Chongo against Cape Verde.
Donashano is doing well on the right back. To me he is better than Kabaso.
We should let Donashano continue on the right back and Mbola on the left. Nkausu and Kabaso will have to fight Donashano for the right back. On the other hand, Nkausu is at an advantage as he can also play in central defence in the absence of Sunzu, who is injured. Munthali is slow and his reading of the game is not so good. Nyambe Mulenga has grown in stature and he is now our dependable central defender with Sunzu.
Zambia will be humiliated at AFCON mark my words..your mediocre team is better of missing this cup to save your name and rebuild on this pathetic team that struggle to beat minor teams like of Mozambique.. ALL OF YOU MARK MY WORDS THE AFCON 2015 IS GOING TO BE WON BY A WEST AFRICAN TEAM.. p.s im from SA,
lol funny one
Of all our right backs,no one can match Nkausu. He is very experienced & has played high profile games. Donashano is coming up but didn’t have a gud game against the mambas. Kabaso is very good just nids to mature. One blogger compared Bruce to Justin Zulu. Justin is a holding midfielder while Bruce is an attacking midfielder.Bruce is in a class of his owown-swift,stealthy & intelligent. Singuluma is our best # 10. Kangwa is our best finisher. Go Zambia Goal!
No wonder some people are quite.
Bloggers please go to cafonline (dot)com and open the menu on standings. If Zambia was in group E we would be leading that group and it is clear that all 4 teams can qualify tomorrow. Meaning that any one of them would be eliminated.
I was just wondering why this site is so quite.
The table is reproduced below:
Team P W L D G F G A GD PTs
1 Ghana 5 2 1 2 8 6 2 8
2 Uganda 5 2 2 1 4 3 1 7
3 Guinea 5 2 2 1 8 8 0 7
4 Togo 5 2 3 0 6 9- 3 6
Only 2 points separate the top team from the lowest placed team. Naikaba iyi.
If Togo wins then there will be serious problems for one team I cannot mention.
Please God let there be peace on our Zamfoot Blog, I pray that you allow Togo to win,
Then we can have peace on this blog for the next 2 years, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!!!!!!!!!!
Khondwani Mtonga shud be recalled Mr Janza, thanks for listening on Evans Kangwa. Give him more game time mailo and we Musakanya is overrated. Try him pa sub
Mweene for captain and Kalaba vice!!!
Janza use Sautu and those two other chaps as well.
Praise the white man from the Dutch land, he is behind the improvement we saw on Saturday. He took note of the mistakes our team made in the first half ,Janza is just a passenger on Johabbie bus.
Sate sate is not a national team material they shud put kangwa on his place coz that boy did nothing in that game… Fuck him
MR COACH AM SEEING SUMTHNG POSITIVE FRM U,BT SUMPLAYERS LIKE BRUCE NEEDS 2B USED AS A SUB,KANGWA&SINGULUMA 2B PARTNAD, KONDWANI SHUD B OSO CONSIDAD,REMEMBER WAT HE PERFOMED AGAINST BRASIL,
This boy is so immature he cost as the game in Cabo Verde. He overlapped but was not quick enough to drop back, simple football basics.
@Kay , how old are you sir? Zambia is Christian nation and I am sure you are aware. Zamfoot is not a platform for yo barriers but for soccer fans. Lets be sober on this blog, by the way I am a fan of Sate Sate. For your own information no one in history has scored two goals in 24 hours for his Country and his club ask FIFA if Rolnado or Merci including Van perce the list is endless and let FIFA give you the records . That is Sate Sate you are saying is not national team material, you cant compare him to Bruce, Patrick Ngoma or evn Mayuka at the moment not Mayuka I use to know who sunk Ghana in 2012 where we going next year and come back with a trophy. Go Zambia Go……. I always say lets give Janza chance.
Just looking as coments flock in.thumb up to all bloggers
