Football Association of Zambia, FAZ President Keith Mweemba believes Zambia has what it takes to won both the Men’s and Women’s African Cup of Nations.
Mweemba made his first official address at Football House on Monday following Friday’s Elective AGM in Kabwe
“I don’t want to sound ambitious, I always believe in adequate and through, meticulous preparations, I believe in that, so we have to give support to our national team coaches.
The Copper Queens are one of the favourites for this year’s WAFCON in Morocco in June while the Chipolopolo Boys will be in action later this year in Morocco.
“We engage them, and they give us how they have lined up the training program for our national teams.
“If we play our cards right, we can actually win both the AfCON and WAfCON.
“I don’t want to be over ambitious in terms of qualifying to the World Cup because I think we are not in a good position for the men’s team.
For the World Cup that will come after these qualifiers, we have to qualify without fail,”
