Dynamos, Zesco clash at Heroes as Zanaco face tricky ‘Harder Na Radiants’

Big spenders Lusaka Dynamos host Ndola giants at Heroes Stadium in the peak of the weekend MTN/FAZ Super League ties.

Second placed Zanaco are away in North Western with a 2 pm tie against Lumwana Radiants while Nkwazi will welcome Nchanga Rangers at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.

In a drop zone tie Real Nakonde face City of Lusaka in the Northern border town.

There will be a double header at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium with Forest Rangers up against Konkola Blades in a lunch time kickoff with Buildcon host Nakambala Leopards later on.

Elsewhere leaders Green Buffaloes are away to Kabwe Warriors on Sunday

Lumwana Radiants and Zanaco are only separated by 6 points with 7th placed Zeddy Saileti’s side on 48 points.

Second placed Zanaco will see the return of Augustine Mulenga. With Mulenga and Ernest Mbewe on the flanks expect fireworks in Lumwana.

While Lusaka Dynamos are gunning for a top four Zesco Utd want the league title

It will see third placed Lusaka Dynamos up against Zesco United who are fourth on the log. Though Zesco are struggling, they are just four points behind leaders Green Buffaloes.

All eyes will be on whether Crispin Mugalu is back in the squad after missing the Barclays Cup.

For Zesco Utd, a defeat will see more pressure pile on Zlatko Krmpotic.

  1. My support this season goes to Green Buffaloes. Reason: They’re a ‘true’ Zambian team; i say so because they have no foreign player and topping the table. May they go far and win it!
