Chiyangi hands three players debut call ups as he names squad for Namibia friendly match

Zambia national team stand-in coach Aggrey Chiyangi has named an all locally based 18-member squad for the Namibia friendly match.

Nkwazi talisman Emmanuel Chabula leads the 18-member squad that is being used to prepare for the 2020 Cameroon CHAN tournament.

Chiyangi has also handed debut call-ups to Green Eagles’ striker Kennedy Musonda, Nkwazi’s Eric Chomba, and Kabwe Warriors’ Zachariah Chilongoshi.

Green Buffaloes defender Chilimba Moonga, Red Arrows midfielder George Simbayambaya, and Sensational Zanaco’s Kelvin Kapumbu have also been summoned for the November 9th invitational encounter.

The team will enter camp on Sunday before heading to Windhoek for the match dubbed the President’s Cup. Zambia and Namibia both qualified for the Cameroon 2020 CHAN and will have one eye on the tournament.
