In a bid to strengthen the Zambia national team technical bench, The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has roped in Zesco United head coach George ‘Chicken’ Lwandamina as a technical advisor.
FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala said the move was aimed at improving the Copper Bullets’ chances of qualifying to the Cameroon 2021 AFCON. Kashala also revealed that FAZ will hire a video analyst and a physical trainer for Chipolopolo.
“In view of the high profile international engagements coming up for the Senior National Team, we have decided to re-enforce our technical bench to ensure that we use the best available resource in our chase for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers,” Kashala said.
Lwandamina joins Aggrey Chiyangi who is the interim head coach, Numba Mumamba (1st Assistant coach ) and Osward Mutapa (2nd assistant coach) to make a strong bench for the Copper Bullets.
Zambia will square off with Algeria on November 14 away in Blida and hosts Zimbabwe on November 19 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka in back to back AFCON qualifiers.

I heard he refused the this type of doing things. He is well paid in his club football job.
“We will hire a video analyst and a physical trainer” This useless FAZ, the games are on us. The coach issue is water under the bridge. We will do a, b and c, truth be told is not good enough. Learn to plan and do things ahead of schedule.
