Zambia will on Wednesday evening seek to avenge their only loss on the Equatorial Guinea 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers when they host Cape Verde who beat them 2 – 1 in the first leg match played in Praia, Cape Verde.
The Chipolopolo who seem to have rediscovered their touch will go into the match with two successive victories in their bag which the visitors have equally matched but the Honor Janza coached side will want to build on their confidence by beating a formidable side as they look to send a message to their would be opponents at the finals in January.
The Cape Verde team which will qualify to the tournament as Group F leaders regardless of the result in Ndola arrived in the country Tuesday at the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 12:40hrs aboard a South African Airways flight.
The Blue Sharks have been accommodated at Moba Hotel in Kitwe and only had one training session at Levy Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Chipolopolo on the other hand were at the stadium at 19:00hrs for their final and only training session of the day.
Both teams are expected to feature changed teams in the formality match with Janza expected to ring changes across the team.
Davies Nkausu and Kabaso Chongo will battle for a place at right back for the right to be named ahead of Donashano Malama while Aaron Katebe is expected to be given a run to partner Nyambe Mulenga.
In midfield, Chisamba Lungu is expected to come in and push Given Singuluma in a more advanced position while Ronald Kampamba will give way.
It is still unclear if Armenia based Lubambo Musonda convinced Janza enough to start him ahead of Bruce Musakanya in the wide area.
Players in Camp:
Goalkeepers: Toaster Nsabata, Danny Munyao, Kennedy Mweene
Defenders: Christopher Munthali, Donashano Malama, Nyambe Mulenga, Aaron Katebe, Davies Nkausu, Kabaso Chongo, Emmanuel Mbola

Strikers: Ronald Kampamba, Emmanuel Mayuka, James Chamanga, Given Singuluma, Evans Kangwa

@Sobongo, I like that line-up. A really good one, can be a winning Africa Cup team.
That captain-ship of Nathan, how did it come up? To make it easier for the coach, bench Nathan and start with ka Spencer Nsautu, in that case the band can go to real captain Mweene or Kalaba.
Good line-up!
i couldnt agree more sobongo this line up will tear cape verde to shreds.
This is also my line up.I think saw our mistakes.you have made good changes to the team.

Lelo lelo, time has come to get these to ma FIFA rankings in the trash can….Go Zambia go !
What’s happening to Mukuka Mulenga? Still struggling to get back to form? This is now becoming worrying.
I see no need to field Mweene in this match. Good to give one of the deputies a chance.
FAZ should also look at the current jersey for the national. They are pathetic to say the least. They look like paramilitary police uniforms especially the green ones. FAZ should bring back the afcon 2012 jerseys. Whats wrong with Kalusha and his friends at FAZ kanshi?
1. Mweene

Gentlemen, i like your contributions on the line up and all. Kindly update me, who is Spence Sautu and which team does he play for? I think i am hearing this name for the very first time.
Janza please include sate sate in the lineup tonight
Cape V is not a strong team for us to be having sleepless nights thinking that they will be us here. Yes we lost in cape V but that was not a scarily defeat. They know it was by chance that they won and they would not want to meet chipolopolo in the finals. If we meet in the finals, definitely defeat will be on their side.
It seems a classic illustration of the scenario of the thief who had always had his way until, on one occasion, he got nabbed by the ‘master’. After years – nay, decades – of informally alleged dubious practices with regard to presenting footballers for age- category competitions, Ghana, a giant in continental and global youth football, has had its cup brimming – and it’s not a very pretty picture whichever way you look at it. It isn’t entirely out of the blue, either. Over the years, Ghana has presented players who, even to the untrained eye, appear way older than the ages indicated in their passports. Finally, though, the Confederation of African Football – upon the persistence of sore losers Cameroun (who prompted these investigations after being outwitted by Ghana’s Black Starlets for a place at next year’s African U17 Championship) – seems to have managed to prove what many had suspected all along. You’re shocked, right?. Earlier this year, in an article hailing Caf for succesfully nabbing and banning Gambia after the country fielded as many as five players in an African U20 Championship qualifier against Liberia, this writer pointed out what warning signs that precedent held out for the likes of Ghana country whose many succesesses at junior level, according to popular opinion, had largely been built on the back of consistently breaching age limits with sheer impunity. “It is an open secret that Ghana have always stocked their junior national teams with players whose actual ages shoot right through the roof,” the aforementioned write- up noted. The article went even further to recommend that Caf go the extra mile to make lessons of nations bigger than tiny Gambia and, just five months later, the governing body’s trap is already bulging accordingly. The Ghana Football Association, on Sunday evening, acknowledged on its official website receipt of Caf’s letter to the effect that the country’s U17s have, per existing regulations, been disqualified from next year’s tournament after one of seven players marked for scrutiny by the aggrieved Camerounians had been nailed by medical examination procedures. “The Ghana Football Association confirms receipt of a letter from CAF disqualifying the National U-17 team, the Black Starlets from the U-17 Championship to be played in Niger in 2015 after upholding the opinion of its Medical Committee on the eligibility of one of the [seven identifieds] players,” a story on ghanafa.org read. Continuing, it noted that “CAF wrote to the GFA on Saturday claiming the analysis of the MRI report from a Medical Centre in Ghana contradicts the analysis of two CAF medical experts on the eligibility of one of the players.” Even worse, Paa Kwesi Fabin’s charges wouldn’t be the only victims of Caf’s disciplinary action. Paragraph 2 of Article 37 of the same set of regulations that has the Starlets hammered could endanger the future of Ghana’s U20s and U23s, all of whom have major international assignments coming up.
I will play 4.4.2 formation. Goalkeeper. 1)Kennedy Mweene. Defenders. 2)CB Nyambe Mulenga. 3 (double 5) Emmanuel Mbola. 4)LB Davies Nkausu. 5) LB Aaron Katebe. Midfieders. 6)Wigs Rainford Kalaba. 7)CM Nathan Sinkala. 8)Atk Chisamba Lungu. 9)Wigs Lubambo Musonda. Strikers. 10)Emmanuel Mayuka. 11)Given Singuluma

@Kay , how old are you sir? Zambia is Christian nation and I am sure you are aware. Zamfoot is not a platform for yo barriers but for soccer fans. Lets be sober on this blog, by the way I am a fan of Sate Sate. For your own information no one in history has scored two goals in 24 hours for his Country and his club ask FIFA if Rolnado or Merci including Van perce the list is endless and let FIFA give you the records . That is Sate Sate you are saying is not national team material, you cant compare him to Bruce, Patrick Ngoma or evn Mayuka at the moment not Mayuka I use to know who sunk Ghana in 2012 where we going next year and come back with a trophy. Go Zambia Go……. I always say lets give Janza chance.

A FOOTBALL PRAYER FROM KASAMA BOY:
Lord God our father, I thank you for helping us keep this Zambian football blog quite.
Yes we do send our players to India, China, Congo DR, and Sasafrica, but they are the ones who win us the AFCON trophy. Egypt uses players from its own league, and they are the ones who won them the AFCON on 3 consecutive times.
Lord those who send their players all over Europe and have their top striker in Oman don’t win anything in a life time. Let them continue sending them there.
I pray to you, my loving God that we keep sending our players to India, China, Congo DR, and Sasafrica, so they continue wining us AFCON trophies.
Please God just as you have blessed our country with peace for the past 50 years, let there be peace on our Zamfoot Blog, and this can only be maintained if you allow Togo to win. I pray for peace on this blog for the next 2 years, in Jesus’ name, Amen!!!!!!!!!!
My best 11 would be
1. Kennedy Mweene(GK)
2. Davies Nkausu(RB)
3. Rodrick Kabwe(LB)
4. Donashano Malama(CD)
5. Nyambe Mulenga(CD)
6. Nathan Sinkala(DM)

@ Alex ZZ Zambian fans get technical eyes paaaa ooooooo
Eish
Coach john
Coach Paradox
Coach sabongo
Good work
We look forward to your fair post match technical analysis.
Lol
Janza! Give more game time to Sate Sate and Evans Kangwa so that they gain more experience at that level! These are the boys we shall rely on for goals at the AFCON next january.
Next tym Kondwani Mtonga shud be considered.
Some lineups are good but I disagree with the role given Chisadinho.A box to box midfield covers a lot of ground, should be good in marking, and suprise joining to score goals, players like khedira,Aaron Ramsey,Issaac Chansa and so on.Though chansa could not score he is a missing link that has made Nathan Sinkala to struggle.I would like see our team score goals with good movement, good build up from defense and build in our opponent area if we are maintain our winning streak.
Winning streak?
Have you even won three consecutive games to call it a streak?
Hahaaa
Admin please define a winning”STREAK”
Hahaa
yes mtonga en chansa
Good luck to my beloved Chipolopolo , Janza should not get carried away as there’s still a lot to be done.
@seto u r a psychomotor read da headline n understand wechipuba wee
A winning streak is the unbroken wins or loses.
Thanks instructor!
THE ZAMBIAN COACH IS VERY USELESS
