Zesco United midfielder Misheck Chaila has bounced back in the Chipolopolo squad after being dropped on Saturday.
Chaila who featured for his club on Sunday was part of the 11 players dropped by coach Wedson Nyirenda on over the weekend but was yesterday part of the team that trained at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Team manager Stanley Kaseko explained that the midfielder has been recalled as a standby player to cover for Clatous Chama who is injured.
Chama sustained an injury while playing for Zesco United in the Barclays Cup quarter final match against Konkola Blades on Sunday.
Chaila who many fans thought should have been kept in the team is a defensive midfielder while Chama is an attacking midfielder.
And team captain Rainford Kalaba joined camp on Monday evening while Chisamba Lungu is expected on Tuesday.
Stopilla Sunzu joins camp on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Kaseko has stated that coach Wedson Nyirenda will trim his squad for Nigeria on Thursday.
You need big guys in the middle especially when playing against Nigeria.
