Chamanga who started and completed the match saw his team go down 2 – 0 as early as the 25th minute with Brazilian and former Chelsea midfielder Ramirez contributing a goal.

    • It is like the editors are really not updating people on this site.Lewis Macha was signed by Kaizer Chiefs here in South Africa but nothing has yet been reported.

      • In their defense I will say they did report on Lewis signing for Amakhosi. They even included a video of his interview on signing.

  1. So Chamanga showing that he still has it when it comes to scoring boots. I know people will say this and that when it comes to any mention of him being recalled even though he is by far doing better things than the chosen youngsters Conclyde and company.

We really need a coach who will look beyond the opinions of naysayers and know which advise and recommendations of local coaches to consider and which to ignore.

  2. Big Steve I agree with you. Chamanga looks very sharp and the second goal he scored was a beauty. The young stars are not performing. Some times you need experience in the team. His kept him self well. I think he can do two more years in the national team.

    • We need J.Chamanga back in the National Team. Seriously, which striker is performing better than James?A National team is not a place for experimenting or assessing none-performing players. The so called young players have been a huge let down to the Chipolopolo follower and the country at large. Let the young players who are averagely performing continue to improve while they are with their clubs NOT at the national Team. Hope we get a coach who will invite players to the National team based on their current forms not just their age. Nationa team is not a place for babysitting kids.Friends, we are talking about WorldCup the qualifiers not COSAF cup. No trials and errors. It is a serious business there.

  3. This could be further evidence we retired our stars too early, name them Katongo, musonda, chamanga, chansa even mbesuma was also being overlooked, but now these players have limited time left.i wonder if we disadvantaged ourselves, let use chisamba, mbola, singuluma, kalaba and others while we can

    • You are absolutely correct!!!We were so impatient with them and very quick calling them all sorts of names. We just have to humble ourselves and call them back. We need them for the WorldCup qualifiers. We will not get anywhere with the kids in the National team. What miracles are we expecting from them? They cannot even perform in their respective clubs.

    • Yes!!! let us protest as soon as we can and hope we get a good coach who can get the best out of them. After all, they brought us the Africa Cup defying all the odds.

  4. Sate Sate in back in the country after failing in Europe. Division two Belgian league to be specific.

  5. Yes all the starting IX of the 2012 final match must be considered for the WC qualifiers except a few like Hichani but with the inclusion of Given Singuluma, Mbesuma and Kalengoal.

  6. No consistance at national team, each game we play their must a dought in players whether they wil play or not.Assemble the experinced players who are performing giv them tough friendlies it wil giv us an insight to go forward and burry the past with good expertriat coach.

  7. Big up to j.Chamang for the good peformance in the chines league.Chipolopolo coach open your eyes for wide selection not takataka zesco fc players, leaft out mayuka and chamanga how are scoring goals with their rispective clubs.

  8. This guy has been around near top scorer in China i hope he rakes in a good salary like the Brazilians and the guys from big countries. I rally hope he gaets good wages for equal work.
