Zesco United will play Smouha of Egypt, Hilal Obayed of Sudan and Recreativo do Libolo of Angola in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Zesco were drawn in group C and will be favorites in the group after reaching the semi finals of the CAF Champions League last year.
Zesco strolled to the group stage with a 5 – 2 aggregate win over Nigerian champions Enugu Rangers.
Libolo despatched CNaPS Sport of Madgascar on away goals after the two legs left the two teams tied at 1 – 1 while Smouha beat Bidvest Wits of South Africa 1 – 0 on aggregate.
Hilal qualified with an emphatic 4 – 1 win over GPA of Gambia.
Only the top two teams will qualify to the quarter finals of the tournament.
Should Zesco emerge from the group, they will be on a collision course with any of the teams in group D which include current champions TP Mazembe, Horoya AC, FC Mounana and Supersport United.
