Zesco United left full back Fackson Kapumbu scored the only goal of the match as Zesco United edged Nakambala Leopards 1 – 0 to go top of the FAZ Super Division Table.
Zesco coach Zlatko is making very few changes to his squad despite his squad’s congested fixture list and in today’s game he named the same starting eleven that played and won 4 – 1 against Nchanga Rangers four days ago.
But in Mazabuka they had to rely on a 45th minute goal scored from an acute angle by Kapumbu.
The win sees the former champions make it three wins in three as they shot to the top of the table with a 100 percent record.
Zesco have another away fixture this weekend against Nkana FC.
Zesco United Starting XI
Jacob Banda – Daut Musekwa, Fackson Kapumbu, Ben Adama Banh, David Odhiambo, Misheck Chaila, Kondwani Mtonga, Idris Mbombo, Jesse Were, Lazarous Kambole, Davy Daka

It was impressed with the way Nakambala played, especially that short brown guy in the mid field for Nakambala he was a marvel to watch & combined well with veteran Martin, but Team Ya Ziko prevailed, Nkana watch out here we come.
During the leagues matches over the weekend you were nowhere to be seen. You are a big let down zamfoot.
They did not have bundles for data connection
LOL!!!!!!!!! Ati no bundles? kekekekekekekeke!
3 3 3=9 points thats what we have now.
zega all the way!!!
Zamfoot? Which team hosted the other. There is some contradiction in the article. Correct it pls.
That’s zamfoot for you. Where they rush too, no one knows. The other week they reported with passion that Lusaka Dynamos and Power Dynamos drew 2 all even when they knew deep within themselves that it was a 3 all draw. Very quick to type. Sometimes they impress to the core in their reporting; moments later, they report from the blues.
I think nomba ba kalampa should specialize in draws with ZESCO ka….just park the bus and at least get a point ..
Kalampa always…lyonse lyonse!!
