Bwale names U20 squad for 2018 Mopani Cosafa tournament

Zambia Under twenty national team coach Charles Bwale has named a 20 man squad that will represent Zambia in the 2018 Mopani U20 Cosafa Championship.

Despite playing down the ambitions of winning the tournament, Bwale has named a strong squad which includes three foreign based players. Bradley Mweene of Pretoria University (South Africa), Edward Chilufya of Djurgardens (Sweden) and Mwiya Malumo of Vulcan FC (England).

Francesco Mwepu will miss the tournament but explosive Zesco United winger Lameck Banda has made the squad together with new call up from Happy Hearts, Golden Mashata.

Zambia is in Group A alongside Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique and Malawi.

The tournament will be played from 2nd to 14th December in Kitwe and Mufulira.
