Congo coach Paul Put was impressed with the quality of Zambian players in Friday’s match.
Zambia run riot in Antalya, Turkey with a 3-1 win over Paul Put’s Red Devils.
“We are very happy we could play Zambia which is a very good team with a lot of quality,” the Belgian said in a post match interview.
Zambia made a quick start with two goals inside the first 23 minutes and this caught Put’s side off guard.
“So I think we had not that luck on our side in the beginning of the match.
“But that’s football, if you don’t score, it’s always difficult. I think we gave easy goals,” the much travelled 65 year old said.

Zambia went on to win the match 3-1 with Frankie Musonda adding the third goal.
This was the second time the Belgian was facing Zambia.
His first encounter was at the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa as his Burkina Faso faced the Chris Katongo captained side.
On the continent, Put has had spells in Gambia, Kenya and Guinea.
