According to a statement monitored by the ZamFoot Crew, Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has announced the rescheduling of tomorrow’s international friendly between Zambia and Benin.

Following a meeting with the organizers of the Zambia versus Benin international friendly match and representatives from the two countries’ football mother bodies, it has been decided that the game will kick-off at 13:00 hours local time (12:00 hours CAT) instead of 19:00 hours as earlier scheduled.

FAZ vice president Justin Mumba says the revision of the kick-off time has been adjusted to suit Benin who have a final engagement on March 29, 2022, in Antalya.

Zambia and Benin will face off tomorrow (Sunday) in an international friendly match at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya which will wind up the Chipolopolo’s two match FIFA international window duty.

In the opening fixture played on Friday, Zambia beat Congo Brazzaville 3-1 with goals coming from Enock Mwepu, Kings Kangwa and debutant Frankie Musonda.

The Chipolopolo are using the FIFA window to prepare for the June round of qualifiers of the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
