Women’s Team leaves for Namibia

The Zambia National Women’s team leaves this afternoon for Namibia where they will participate the Africa Women Championship (AWC).

The Zambian will play the opening match against hosts Namibia on Saturday 11th October at the Sam Nujoma and will also play Nigeria on Tuesday, October 14 at the same venue while the third and final group stage match against Ivory Coast is scheduled for Independence Stadium.

All of Zambia’s group stage matches are scheduled to start at 18h00 Central African Time.

The Zambian’s lost to South Africa in the first preparatory match before losing to Cameroun who they later held to a draw in the final preparatory match played in Lusaka last weekend.

The team leaves at 13:00hrs.
