The focus for the FAZ MTN Super League will be on the Copperbelt as the top four teams battling it out for the top slot in what will be winner takes top slot for either Zesco United, Power Dynamos or Zanaco on Sunday.
Leaders Zesco host third placed Zanaco while second placed Power host champions Nkana.
The math is simple for Zesco as they only need to win to guarantee that they stay top of the log while a loss could see the end the week in 3rd position if Power pick maximum points as well. A win for Zanaco could leave them in the first position provided Power fails to beat Nkana.
A draw will only keep Zesco on top if Power lose to Nkana in what remains to be the biggest fixture of the Zambian game.
Power on the other hand will be hoping to collect maximum points against Nkana and will keep their ears on the proceedings in Ndola as they will be praying for Zanaco to do them a favor against Zesco.

Zambia 1 – 0 Ivory Coast. Sate Sate 44th minute.
Thanks guys for your update
1-1. 61 minutEs gone.
Fuckson kapumbu has missd a penalty
why giving a penalty to Kapumbu?
nkana a zambia
Over Janza, can have papers but he lacks the capacity to read the game.I wont get surprised if we fail to qualify.
I was here singing about Sate Sate to be given a chance , I think is my man of match
Lubambo Musonda was on target today for his team Ulisses Yerenvan in their 2-3 away win against Ararat Yerevan in Armenia .He scored the winning goal in the 44th minute.
Evans Kangwa has also scored in the 13th minute for Hapoel R’anana against Maccabi Haifa to make it 0-1 away from home in the Israel premier league. The game is still in the first half.
thanks for the updates bashi Mwewa
Thanks @Shi Mwewa for the info on Evans and Lubambo.
Those who watched the Zambia vs I.C who were the stand out players? I was expecting Alex Ngonga to have some game time.
Sibs, I think Sate Sate had an outstanding game, he could have arguably been the MoTM in the game. I was impressed with Spencer Sautu. The boy was industrious in midfield that he made me wonder why janza has been emphasizing on introducing Charles Zulu when Sautu can do so much better. Sautu assisted sate sate for the goal. Musakanya was impressive as well, one would mistake him for Kalaba in certain instances bt he missed two chances that i feel he should never miss again especially competitive matches. Patrick Ngoma had a good game too.
Happy 50th independence to all Zanbians, ZAMFOOT bloggers, and MY BROTHER from another mother Mr. SIBS. God bless Africa!!
@LBJ. Thanks man we appreciate your vists to Zamfoot. Africa Unite. Have a good one.
So who won the game?
Sate Sate is the man to watch,I don’t know why he is not given more game time. Janza is not good to be our coach. Our team is lacking creativite. No clear passes up front. Its the duty of the coach to bring tactics in a team. Ivory coast has a system and they had a better game than us. We have to do something before its too late.
Ba Zamfoot, whats has gone wrong with you? Up to now no article on the game against CIV? you should have been the 1st to write something on the game. Imagine other online guys have wrote something just after the game you areletting us down. eg Lusaka times.
In the first half that Malambo was not seen in the midfield and to me, he needs to up his work rate for him to be associates Chipolopolo but sauti, is the man to watch.
Lets give janza support,it takes time to build a strong team.faz must arrange more friendlies for these guy.
@David, You give time to someone who looks promising. The only game Zambia played well under Janza was his first game against Sudan,of which the players used patrice’s knowledge and tactics, the rest is trash. Which time and for how long ? 10 years ? The truth is nothing good will come out of our current team under Janza. The team is toothless,ki ki ki ki ki !!!
Patrice is a pathetic coach.my friend you are making noise about Janza yet Patrice is equally useless
The most outstanding players where Sate Sate,Sautu, the defence apart from Danashano Malama. Sate Sate impressed me alot not just because of that score but the way he was positioning himself when is having the ball, very accurate passes . Not that young boyi Patrick Ngoma he was switched off as if he was not the main striker. Our coach is good lets just give him time, I know if we have the likes of Kalaba,Sunzu, Chisamba,Kangwa,Sinkala,Mukuka,Lubambo and mix with the lads who played yesterday we have a strong team that can stand the test of any opponent in the world. The lads are young and ambitious . Bruce Musakanya keeps the ball for too long , I would start him on bench and order him not to hold the ball for along time.
Give Janza a chnace for what? Other coaches have set a precedendent and as such any idiot saying yes to the big job should be equel to the task i their own judgement, period. No try and error
precedent
@ba Justice Lukanga Kafusha well said. Janza has proved to us that he’s a failure together with Chintu. We need more serious people on that bench. Period!!
Nkana game is on now
its penalty to Nkana or power has missed a chance shame
Still 0-0
Nkana FC scores from a corner kick which was fumbled by Power Dynamoes Keeper Joshua Titima and scrumbled in by Derrick Mwansa in the 71st minute.Power 0 – 1 Nkana.
Power Dynamos 0-2 Nkana 78 mins
Sate Sate scores in the 79th minute to make it 0-2 to Nkana after he lofted the ball over Keeper Titima after a defensive lapse by power.
Power Dynamos 0-2 Nkana
What about Zesco vs Zanaco game?
Power 0-2 Nkana 86mins
Power pulls one back in the 89th minute after a cracker from Govender Simwala.
Final score: Power 1-2 Nkana FC.
