The ranking system for the clubs, which works similarly to the system used by FIFA to calculate the ranking of the world’s national teams has Power ranked in a dismal 102nd position with TP Mazembe (DRC), Al-Merreikh (Sudan), AS Vita (DRC), Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Al Hilal Omdurman (Sudan) in the Africa top five.
According to the rankings released on 19th October, 2014 and monitored by Zambianfootball.co.zm Power are trailed in Zambia by Zanaco, Zesco United, Nkana FC, and Nchanga Rangers.
The Zambian top ten is completed by Red Arrows, Green Buffaloes, Napsa Stars, Konkola Blades and Kabwe Warriors.
The top four teams in the rankings are the same teams occupying the top four places in the league though not in the same corresponding order.
Ranked 102 where? Zambian clubs need to invest a lot in their clubs to change their fortunes. We can’t be doing.the same things for 50 years. Most of these clubs do not even have s website, shame.
Im surprised the Egytian top clubs and Tunisians are not in Africas top 5.
