Midfielder Prince Mumba has been released by Croatian Super League side Istra 1961 half way through his season loan move from Kabwe Warriors.
The diminutive box to box midfielder signed a season loan move from Kabwe Warriors in August.Ā
After failing to hold down a starting place in the Istra team, the Croats decided to terminate his loan.Ā
The Zambian international is now expected to return to his Warriors, a team he captained for 2 seasons prior to his move to Eastern Europe.
Before he signed for Istra, Mumba was linked with moves to Red Arrows and Zesco United.
Compatriots Albert Kangwanda and Peter Chikola left Croatian sides in January while Emmanuel Banda recently made his switch from Sweden to Croatia.
On the international stage, Mumba has won the regional Cosafa Cup three times.
He captained Zambia to the Under-17 and 20 triumph, and last year, he was part of the Aljosa Asanovic winning Chipolopolo side in South Africa.
