Euro Moves: One in February, another in June 

The January transfer window closed on Tuesday with no Zambian player signing a deal in Europe. 

While this might be raising a few eyebrows among the Chipolopolo faithful, there’s no need to be. 

The ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal that two Zambian youngsters are on the move. 

“Yes, it’s true there might be a player signing soon in Europe,” says a ZamFoot Crew‘s European correspondent 

When quizzed about the likely destination, the European correspondent was tight-lipped. 

“It’s in the top three footballing countries in Europe excluding England,” he added from his base in Stockholm, Sweden. 

The ZamFoot Crew understands the youngster will initially play with the youth team before transitioning to the main team. 

For the transfer in June, the deal is as good as done. 

“It’s not your Germany, Italy or Spain but it’s a very good deal for the player. 

“The kid will be the first Zambian to play for that club but the fourth Zambian to sign in that country. 

“It is similar to the Patson Daka and Mwepu’s deal in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg,” he added.
