The Zambia U23 national will this afternoon take on Nigeria in the second leg final round qualifier for the 2015 All Africa Games.
Zambia held the confident Nigerian to a goalless draw in Abuja and will be looking to finish the job in today’s game at the Heroes Stadium.
Nigeria coach Samson Siasia will be looking to Etebo Oghenekaro to get him the important away goal that his team will be looking for.
Etebo was a pain for the Zambian defense in the first leg though the Fighton Simukonda coached side benefited from his wastefulness and selfishness.
Despite playing at home, Zambia is expected to go in the match with just about the same approach they used in Nigeria with only one change expected.
South Africa based Mukuka Mulenga who missed the first leg is expected to be named in the starting line-up ahead of Power Dynamos wide midfielder Julius Situmbeko.
The rest of the team which started in the first leg will be maintained with skipper Toaster Nsabata.
Chishimba Changala, Boyd Mkandawire, Kayawe Kapota and Billy Mutale will complete the backline.
Salulani Phiri and Shadreck Malambo will hover over the back-four to protect them from midfield while Mukuka Mulenga and John Chingandu will provide the attacking ammunition from midfield in support of Ronald Kampamba and Patrick Ngoma who will be the two strikers upfront.
Zambia need an outright while Nigerian can qualify with a scoring draw.
Probable Starting XI:
1. Toaster Nsabata (C), 2. Changala Chishimba, 3. Boyd Mkandawire, 4. Billy Mutale, 5. Kayawe Kapota, 6. Salulani Phiri, 7. Julius Situmbeko, 8. Shadreck Malabo, 9. Patrick Ngoma, 10. Ronald Kampamba, 11. John Chingandu,

Mukuka Mulenga should shine today. He has to convince the rest of Zambian soccer fans the way He did to the yellow family at Arthur Davies stadium in Kitwe. GOOD LUCKY YOUNG CHIPOLOPOLO. ELIMINATE THE SUPER CHICKS FOR ONCE.
Is this game live on national television?
I pity zambians in Advance
will we see the game live on tele…DSTV or ZNBC
With hardwork and focus mixed with tactical displine Zambia can win.As it stands now its a 50/50 situation.Nigeria is an african powerhouse at watever soccer level, lets show them respect but lets not act inferiol.Go Zambia Go.
Game Wil Be Live On Znbc.Zambia Wil Perform Wel,nigeria Wil Be Caught On Counter Attack Equally Zambia If It Wil Not Be Mindful In Defence.
all the best to Chipolopolo
Finally I am back on zamfoot after a break of 2 weeks (election things in naija)..
~This will surely be an interesting. Nigeria qualifying in front of zambians will be the perfect climax of the game.
~We are behind you Siasia, Nigerians are behind you Dream Team. Goodluck to us.
I would love to see the EPIC expression on Mumbi’s face after 90mins.
Welcome Badosqi. Are you ready?
Can some one assist me with the kick off time between the Black Stars and Black Mambas. GSN is totaly blackout from yesterday.
Sure I am ready Mumbi.

bodosqi. it would have bin better if u waited after the game. coz if we win, u wont last a second on this site
Who beats Nigeria at under 23? Nobody. More so not any mediocre /novice nation. THIS SIASIA DREAM TEAM WILL GO ON TO BE LIKELY WORLD CHAMPIONS ONE DAY. Even BRAZIL under 23 CANNOT STOP THE DREAM TEAM
fake paradox.
Vindicated
Game on
i feel charles zulu should have been part of this team
9 minutes played seems to be an evenly affair so far
sate sate and Mukuka combining very well.
Paradox… This is the best time for me to resurface because Nigeria is damn winning this match.
Nigeria living dangerously!
Both sides are skillfully combined! But Zambia is missing too many chances!
This Saviour guy from Nigeria requires marking.
Nigiria should be happy for now for keeping zambia from scoring. Zambia playing well but lacking that killer punch
Nigeria scores.
It was a good counter and the defenders went to sleep!
Nigeria is crossing low and possing a challenge while Zambian crosses in the 18 are too high.
Zambia defense broken again and we had to be saved by the goalkeeper.
Hahahahahah… Dream team already leading.
~ please where are those zambians celebrating like they’ve won world cup after the first leg result. A qualifier like this is not won after 90mins, you must wait till after 180mins to know your fate.
~ Drawing Nigeria is nothing, qualifying is the main thing.
~well it is just 0-1, let us see if you guys can score the needed 2 goals without conceding more
Awoniyi from U-20 already doing well in U-23
Nigeria has run over zambia for the last 15 min of the first half. Will be interesting to see the changes the coach will come up with to effect the desired result
The difference is that Nigeria has a faster reaction than Zambia particularly in the midfield.
Switching to PL, already know the undesired result!
Are you surprised Nigeria has scored? Not me. Really our national teams are poor right now.
Hehehehe, pa Zambia. Mediocrity all over the place, and yet some idiots continue worshipping Kalu.
Sweet victory
What a miss!
To be honest our U23 are tactical than the senior team. What we are lacking I a leader in the midfield.
More tactical I mean.
Please where are the chicken crusaders, time to roast some chickens.
~Ooh I have forgotten, the young eagles/chicken is whooping their asses.
Nigeria makes a sub. Mustapha Abdullah in for Balbwa.
Hey guys at Youth level Nigeria are stronger than at Senior level. We need a lot changes in our game.
Standards have gone down. Good luck to the boys although they are a goal down already.
Useless striking by Zambia there.
Same story
Save by Nigerian gole!
We need to be clinical upfront!
Musakanya in for wasteful Ching’andu.
zambian players are amateurs uncluding coaches
This Friday Sam boy why does he have a combination of names like a Nigerian or Ghanaian?
only Sate the rest eish
Nigeria begins delaying tactics.
We wont qualify unless the unthinkable happens.
Congrats to Nigeria wish you well in September. Let me watch the Manchester debuty.
wooooooop em ass. Nigeria all the way
1-1
whats going wit sate 5 clear cut chances my God even a baby can score
Now getting interesting..1-1
2-1 Nigeria leading
useless striker sate sate
Ukooooo!!! Twalaumfwako.
1} Zambia senior team (afcon 2015) 1st round exit
2) U17 afcon 2015 1st round out
3) U20 afcon 2015 1st round exit
4} U23 All-africa games, eliminated
5) Zambia national team women’s All africa games, eliminated
Have I forgotten anything? Whats the way forward now, countrymen/and women?
1-2….laughing in chinese. Mumbi how market?. Hope you are ready to feast on your chickens because you guys are not good enough to stop the eagles.
~loudmouth like you was celebrating 0-0 draw against Nigeria like it is the end of the world. Thanks Dream team for showing you guys how you get result when you travel away…..
My brother, l am laughing in Swahili. Mumbi is now apportioning blame. Paradox is yet to wake up from coma. I wonder why this is a shock. The hand writing was on the wall. These CHIPOLOPOLOS deceive themselves. Their draw in Nigeria was like they had won the world cup. The nigeria under 23 is one of the best in the world. How can the China-based players of Zambia beat THE DREAM TEAM?
Sate Sate is behind Zambia’s loss. The team played well and am proud of them.
As usual , u have to be proud of the minnows. Now u may compare yourselves to the Giants. We now know who is noisy. Empty barrels …………. Whether u like it or not, the west Africans are the torchbearers of African football. Fix your poor admin bottlenecks first b4 u even start thinking of your status on the world scene. If you ever qualify for the World Cup (highly impossible) poor admin will compound the already inexperienced China-based players performance
You are part of the problem
If not for keshi that use corruption to spoil the senior team,There will be no chicken for anyone to roast….Taiwo awoniyi did well in his first game for naija under 23 after his emergency callup from under 20…..Zambia football is going down day by day…No future ?
The money that is being pumped into soccer is going to waste. Govt should start spreading funds equally to all sporting disciplines. One can explain and give an excuse for a draw at home, not losing at home and you call yourselves a footballing nation! We are jokers indeed!
Well done Nigeria and congratulations for qualifying to the All-Africa games. Hard luck Zambia and try next time. We have a useless football system in Zambia currently. More needs to be done.
And some of us continue bootlicking Kalu. Rubbish!
congratulations to Nigeria .but our coach should have not substituted Patrick ngoma . Friday is good but chingandu is useless . Had luck Zambia . Lastly nsabata to blame on first goal why not diving.
Zambia has no team among the 30 best top in Africa.
Zambia has no player in the monthly African Team.
In neighboring countries even clubs have engaged foreign coaches but Zambians most of them who are glued to local soccer still insist on having local coaches who pathetically have failed to deliver.
ZAMBIANS please wake up, we need a complete practical shake up in the Administration of our soccer. Forget about local coaches, they have sank football standards.
country men and women lets support our national teams in win .draw or lose thas how cruel football
~Waiting to read Mumbi’s rants and excuses (Oooops he is already blaming Sate sate). Paradox I can’t wait to read yours too
~Taiwo Awoniyi scored the 2 goals for the Dream Team, this boy is rising fast. He scored 3 goals in just concluded AYC(U-20), drafted into U-23 as an emergency player to rescue the team and he didn’t fail.
~Great one to from Samson Siasia from drafting some of the AYC stars into the U-23 team. And thanks for giving Taiwo the chance to rescue the dream team, he is not as wasteful as those guys from the first leg game.
~Hope to see U-20 players in Brazil next year for the olympics, let us go and win the fifa U-20 world first.
You are right Mutongo Asante. Keshi is causing us lots of wahala at the senior level. The annoying thing is that he is about to sign another deal with the supereagles.
~We have good talents but keshi spoilt the team with politics. Look at our teams from U-17-U20-U23 they are full of young talents dominating African football and world football but senior team crawling on a spot.
