Zambia U20 national team players Patrick Ngoma and Charles Zulu have trekked to Europe in search of professional contracts in Israel and Spain respectively.
Zambianfootball.co.zm can review that Ngoma is currently in Israel with a club yet to be named.
The Chipolopolo striker who was part of the senior national team that played at the 2015 Africa Cup of nations was also being closely monitored by a French club but the Israeli club has moved swiftly to have a look at him.
His U20 team mate who also made his debut for the senior national team in the qualifiers for the 2015 is also reported to be in Spain hoping to clinch a deal.
Zulu who plays for Zanaco has so far scored two goals for the log leaders.
The two players are also part of Fightom Simukonda’s U23 national team.
Good 4 boys
We can only keep our fingers crossed they clinch something.
Good lack to the boys. The trick is to do more running than Saido mane, maybe you can succeed.

Twayambako, till then as we,ve been that route before. Let opportunities present themselves-not to condemn you boss as your opinion is very respected!!!
So you people are thinking we can have a player in spain in the name of Zulu Charles? How many players have attended trials in spain, england, france and have been successful? To start with look at the stature of the boy! Short and thin! He has just gone for sight seeing!
Short and stout (not thin) my sister!
It’s not just a question of going to Europe but game time is important. Let’s hope our boys will break through. congrats guys.

ALL THE BEST BOYS,
People who are running clubs in Zambia are the ones who are destroying zambian football . Both marketing and nurturing of players is very poor . Some of these they can’t even sell playerz to psl and other week leagues . We need to adopt a Brazilian culture of exporting players be it in Africa , Asia n Europe . We need to have a team of professional . The movement of players creates vacant for young ones and more talent will emerge . If the under 23 failed to qualify lets not blame coach and faz . Most of the players are bench warmers in their own country . A useless club like zesco provides nothing to zambian football that’s old peoples home . Those who are dominating African football are the ones who have more exports in Europe .
@ Big Steve on ‘changing times’ – PSL is not so much of an option now is it? Obviously they are looking for quality players and not just every other player from Zambia or wherever…if football is part of it maybe they are also not very keen to employ foreigners as well…the under-currents of xenophobia. It’s just important to get some current in the cells of the local league by ‘fwebene’ like it used to be the days of the KK 11. As a pupil from boarding school we used to watch the local league in a packed Woodlands Stadium obviously the gate money was good. We have to fill up those stands in the stadia whether we like it or not. We just have to for the future of the game and for sports to be able to stand as an employer. You want to see double headers with junior teams playing there games. How come every team in England seems to have a lot of fans. Is it difficult to do that here when there is jobs being created? We have to to start enjoying local sports occasions.
all the best.
