Numba and Kaindu sent on administrative leave

Sensational Zanaco has sent head coach Numba Mumamba and assistant coach Kelvin Kaindu on administrative following a string of poor results.

The Bankers made the decision which was reached last evening this morning with a post on their official Facebook page as monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.

Current Team Manager Robin Munsaka and goalkeeper coach Kalumba Mpunga will take charge of the team in the interim capacity.

Zanaco yesterday afternoon suffered a heavy 3-1 defeat at the hands of Lusaka dynamos to send them into the relegation zone.

It’s very unlikely that Numba and Kaindu will return from the ‘Administrative leave’ and this may be the end of their tenure with ZamFoot Crew sources indicating that a new coach is being lined up.

The Bankers are currently on a nine-game winless run in all competitions and last won a match in November when they beat Cano Sport of Equatorial Guinea 5-1 in the CAF Confederations Cup Playoff.

They are 15th on the log table with only 13 points collected from 12 games played with three games in hand.
