Lewingtone Mujembe could soon be given the Chambishi FC top job on a permanent basis the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Mujembe has been in charge of the Copperbelt based club since October 26 on an interim basis after Kaunda Simonda was fired diplomatically by being sent on administrative leave.
The former Konkola Blades boss is believed to have impressed the Chambishi top brass with the way he has turned fortunes around at the Chambishi ground.
When Simonda was sent on administrative leave exactly two months ago, Chambishi were second from bottom with four points from nine games played with only one win to their name.
Fast forward to eight games later, Chambishi have won six games, drawn one and just lost one game, now that’s a complete turn around.
Chambishi are currently 9th on the log with 23 points after 17 games and just four points adrift of Red Arrows in 4th place.
